JANUARY NEWSLETTER
This has by far been the most intense month that I can remember having since the Lakeland Revival! Sleep and time seems to be a thing of the past for a season. As many of you may have heard Unquenchable Ministries has partnered with Streams of Life Church to take over the Uganda Jesus Village formally ran by Transform International.
On December 23, 2009 our beautiful UJV children were sent back by the former leadership under the claims that the Ugandan government shut down the children’s home because they children were from Northern Uganda not Kampala. This made no sense to our team as a Ugandan is a Uganda. After some meetings we discovered that this was not true at all. When we went to Gulu we found our children living in Displacement camps, in conditions that were unsanitary, with no food or clean water. The education system is poor or non -existent. Our team being lead by pastor Gerald Mwebe decided we could not leave these children in Gulu.
Jan 8 we brought back the first load of children then this past Sunday the rest. We are missing 4 of our children. We really need your prayer and support at this time as we are coming against so much warfare in the natural and in the spirit. We have had to pay out our budget as a ministry as well as out of our personal pocket for everything.
Kira and Unquenchable Ministries will be heading to Australia for the months of Feb and March. We will be coming to host revival meetings through out Australia. Plans are coming together quickly for our Refresh Uganda Crusade and mission trip in Jinja. The cost for this mission trip is $3500USD we will be hosting a 4 night crusade, ministering in jails, villages, schools and hospitals. We would love to have you join us. April is the start of the first ever Unquenchable Ministries International Internship. We are really excited about what God is doing with this program. Raising up people of all ages to live a Kingdom Life style. We will be ministering on the streets with prophetic evangelism, hosting mini crusades, ministering in hospitals, orphanages, and jails. This is just the beginning of what we will be doing. Refresh and Revive Africa Unquenchable Ministries Mission trip 2010 . God has given me Refresh and Revive two words for a local city about 80 Km out side Kampala called Jinja. Unquenchable Ministries is excited to announce our very first crusade and mission trip to Uganda. We are planning the mission trip for April 15 to April 30. We are now excepting applications for this mission trip. We want to encourage you to come and change the world with us well being transformed yourself! During this mission trip you will be able to be involved in a crusade, pray for the sick and see them healed, cast out demons, minister in local schools and jails. My ministry was birthed out of mission trips so they are close to my heart. Come join us and experience a mission trip like no other.
In this last season of my life my heart has been so broken for the children of Africa! From what I have observed in my time here children are not seen as valuable and often neglected and abused. As we sat in this jam I had tears burning in my eyes as I saw a little 2 year old sitting on the street begging and being careful not to put his little hands down in fear of being beaten by his mother who watched from a distance. Often these children are so tired you can see them fighting from falling asleep. I see children wonder the streets day and night with out hope or purpose. God gave me a vision while watching that child beg.
Unquenchable Ministries is excited to announce a new program that will soon be launched. God gave me the name CIA Children In Africa. I want to develop Kingdoms Kids vacation bible school and incorporate life skills for children and youth. We also want to empower parents as well as offer creative parenting classes. I want to empower a generation of children to be saved and walk out kingdom life styles. The greatest harvest is in the children! My heart is to empower change as of now the generations in Africa have had a survival mentality of “as long as I make it”. I want Uganda’s and Africa’s to learn to leave a legacy and to empower their children to walk for the Lord and to be educated and to lead the Africans out of poverty.
In the latter parts of 2010 and 2011 I would like to take a small team of interns and a small bus and travel to as many villages in Africa as possible. Preaching the good news of Jesus and hosting kids crusades. As well as train and equip parents on the value of children. We want to bring the saving love of God around Africa.

Stuart and I love and pray for you all. We are so blessed beyond words at all that God has been doing in this season. As we speak God has given us a project in Northern Uganda in Gulu with a children’s home we helped to support. We have been heart broken by some decisions that were made my leaders. Please pray for us to be lead by the Holy Spirit in how to handle this situation and how we as a ministry and partners can continue to help these children.
