About Kira Mitchell

Kira grew up in the small city of Spruce Grove Alberta.  Growing up in the church and being involved in missions and local summer camps Kira began to have a heart for full time ministry.  After high school Kira attended bible school where she worked towards her Bachelor of theology majoring in youth ministries. As well as working in the social working field.   

After a season at bible school Kira felt that there had to be more and became unsatisfied with text book learning.  Her heart burned passionately to see young people become radical believers who would bring a demonstration of the power of God to earth.  Kira longed to live a life like Jesus of seeing miracles, healings, signs and wonders and to preach the gospel every where she went.  Kira heart began to become pulled towards finding Christians who were radical about street evangelism, prophetic evangelism and praying for the sick in the market place.

In 2006 Kira took a break from Social working and made the long journey to Juarez Mexico.  During this season of her life she volunteered with a local missions group Amigo Relief Missions.  Kira organize and facilitate teams of missionaries and helped with projects as well as serving at a local children’s home.  Through out this time Kira spent many hours in the secrete place with the Lord crying out for God to open up the doors for full time ministry.  After serving in Mexico for this season Kira heard the voice of God that it was time to go back to Canada and that the doors were going to open up for her to travel and intern with Fresh Fire Ministries.  A prayer that Kira had been praying for over five years. 

September of 2007 Kira moved to Abbotsford British Columbia where her dream of interning with Fresh Fire was now a reality.  Kira was the group of the first female interns with Fresh Fire.  During this season Kira learned how to live in the Supernatural and develop a deep and intimate relationship with God.  

Unquenchable Ministries was established by founder Kira Mitchell is 2007.  After interning under a world reknown Evangelist, Kira felt impressed of the Lord to go into full time iterant ministry.  After finishing the internship in January Kira began to travel full time internationally as the Lord showed favor and open doors in her life.  At this point leaders in her life saw the call of God and Kira was ordained in April of 2007.

While praying about what the name of the ministry Kira had an encounter, which inspired her to call the ministry Unquenchable Ministries.  The name means that we will never become satisfied with yesterdays bread but will continue to hunger and thirst for more of God.  Growing each day closer and closer with the Lord through prayer, fasting, intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

 
Unquenchable Ministries has now ministered and served around the world through out Canada, the USA, Australia, Africa, India, Mexico and Jamaica.  As well as serving in the Lakeland revival.  Kira has a heart to go to every nation of the world to preach the gospel with the power of the Holy Spirit and to train others in operating in the prophetic and the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
